GOLDEN AUTUMN TIME

I would like to create an architectual scene that tells a story. When the summer ends and the autumn starts – this is a nice feeling because you prepare for the long and cold dark winter. The first leaves are starting to fall from the trees. I enjoy the golden orange colored nature and I am happy to have a roof over the top and I enjoy the time with my family. We soak up the last warm sunrises to prepare for the winter.

I am architect and my inspiration is the art of house design. I would like to live one day in my own designed house. So I try to show in this competition my own designed dream house in a harmony golden enviorement situation.

My goal was to create a positive mood in the eyes of the viewer. Even if summer is already over. Spend time with your families and enjoy the good times. Enjoy the golden time.

UTS Central

Last year the University of Technology Sydney engaged me to create a 3 minute animation for them to show off of the new UTS Central building currently under construction. The aim was to focus on 4 key areas:
1) The exterior of the building in context with the rest of the campus masterplan
2) The main interior student lobby
3) The magnificent library reading room
4) The new basement “Superlab”.

Already having many of the master-plan assets from previous animations completed for UTS, I still had to change many areas, including the Alumni Green space to be accurate to what had been built.

I completed the full animation in about 3 months. The only help I had was in modelling some custom furniture and some custom scripting. Rendering was outsourced to GarageFarm on the cloud.

The interior still images of the library were offered to the client free of charge, as a gesture of good will. They required considerable work but I had spare time and the building was so nice, I wanted to show it off.

Time to pack up flip-flops and Hawaiian t-shirts…
We´ll spend some good times in our catamarans smoking big cigars and drinking mimosas on the upper deck.
September we´ll come back with really cool new projects and new adventures in Hi-Fi.
Till then, our unconditional love.
One more for the road: a cool project we did with our nice friends of Digsau in Philly.
