BI Cube

We are begining this week by publishing one of our favorite works with BI Group sales office. It was done in close collaboration with Fundamental Architects.

The Fundamental Architects have developed a fantastic concept of the sales office building. The prime aim was to change the initial public perception of the sales office’s image. The usual unpretentious utilitarian structure was to become a gorgeous and full-fledged part of the overall architectural and urban design of the entire residential complex.

The concept itself provides a representation of the aesthetic and ambitious intentions of the company BI Group. The design solutions were based on scale, monumentality and history. In other words, there was the idea to make the building large but at the same time give a sense of stability and reliability. It was also necessary to emphasize that the developers company looks to the future, not forgetting the past.

For that very reason, the monolithic cube architecture was chosen as a symbol of steadiness. The cut out light niches assist to illuminate the interior while classic Kzakh patterns on the facets of the cube give the building its unique design.

Dali Hotel

Dali Hotel is a project from The One Atelier Italian studio. The main idea of ​​this complex was to integrate the Hotel complex as environmentally-friendly as possible. In other words, it is an attempt of the most healthy integration of the complex into nature without deforestation and other environmental damage.

The renderings for the Dali Hotel project are an example where visualization demonstrates a dialogue between the architecture and its environment. With aerial view you can always achieve an impressive result but, in this case, you always need to carefully monitor the high level of the surroundings details.

In addition to the aerial view, we tried to find not the obvious, but spectacular angles while playing with the multi-level landscape. For example, this human view of the neighboring villa and the stretching landscape is like a shot taken in the air.

A private Residence our Studio worked on from Architectural Concept Design, Documentation, Costing as well as Architectural Visualisation.

The whole project was designed using conceptual sketches in Morpholio Trace as well as Pro Create. Sketching was initially done over drone footage, these were later sketched to scale in Morpholio Trace, afterwards these were translated into conceptual and final construction drawings in Archicad.

The overall and general modelling was done in Sketchup whilst detailed modelling for specific furniture or appliances was done in Blender and 3DS Max.

Corona Render 8 was used, taking advantage of the new ACES OT tone mapping parameter. The raw renders were colour balanced and levels tweaked in Photoshop.
