Valley of Clouds

The Valley of Clouds began as an exploration of Corona’s volume material and trying to achieve the feeling of flying above a foggy city. I wanted to push the boundaries of the volume shader to see if I could get a result that I hadn’t seen before. I started by building city blocks of night buildings from evermotion and then painstakingly adjusting the parameters of the fog material and surface modifiers to get a good result. Once I had the cloud material in place the rest of the scene evolved into a dreamy mountain landscape to further push the narrative of stumbling a hidden futuristic city hidden in the valley.

Canyon

A personal project that I have been working on during the past weeks in order to showcase some use of substance designer, caustics and fog, maybe just a technical exercise.

sunburn

Hi Guys,
here is my last personal project called “sunburn”. This time I want to capture the elegance and simplicity of the midcentury architecture with a different style and story. Of course, the charm of the old gas stations has inspired me a lot by doing this project.
It was the first time I used C4D from start to finish for modeling. Textured, shaded and rendered in Octane and for texturing of the hero objects i used 3DCoat, which is very handy tool for handpainted textures.
Hope you like it guys and thanks for watching.
Comments and Critics are always welcome.
Best, Bahadir
