DeSilver house

1961 John Black Lee and Harrison DeSilver designed the house to demonstrate that good design and construction could be built without compromise. This project inspired me so much that I decide to make visualizations of it.

I was inspired by the renders that EFFEKT had already done, and I thought the design intent was fun and interesting. It also lent itself to an endless amount of possible landscapes in which the architecture could sit.

I really wanted to use Megascans and figure out the workflow between Quixel bridge and max. It was a very intuitive process and before i knew it i was importing this beautiful assets and building my scene.

This is the first in a series of environments I’ve been working on. I’ve nearly completed a desertscape and have begun on a tropical beach environment.
