BIGyard

Spare time personal project based on zanderroth architekten’s project named BIGyard.
I’ve just imagined a different context and I had fun playing with 2 different moods and lighting setups. Most enjoyable part has been painting the road texture, blending several textures with custom brushes, in a single huge 60k texture with all the correspondent maps.
It’s also the first project done with Corona 3.0 and I have to say the displacement has been improved quite a bit.

architecture and nature

it been a long time since I wanted to try Quixel Megascans on one of our projects. We decided to use them in this ocation because we have much more artistic licenses than in others real state projects. We are very happy with the results and wishing to take a lot more advantage of this kind of 3d scanned objects, than bring to life architectural scenes.

Shaker Forest Shadow

Great models and materials meant we didn’t need to do much retouching on these images, everything came together really well with a simple lighting setup. As ever we used our custom IES lighting profiles and reflector boards to illuminate the space.
A few bits of food and plant photography were then shot and composited on in photoshop.
