This is full CGI project. Everything was modeled in 3ds Max, except the ground mesh.
It was created in World Machine. The grass and trees were scattered with Forest Pack. The images were rendered with V-ray.

What started out as a scene to test and play with Corona Renderer volume materials inspired me to create an atmospheric image which portraits an early morning sunlight coming in to an industrial bar located somewhere in Brooklyn, New York
We modeled this sculpture for a different project, and after a few days we thought, why not take it a bit further? So we tried to show it in its actual location, hovering an artifical lake.
