GH House

Fresh visualizations of GH House which was theme on Architectural Visualization Challenge on Ronen Beckerman website back in 2010.
It was a really long time ago and I do not take part in this Challenge, but I thought it will be fun to create new set of visualizations of this building.

All renderings was done using 3ds max and Corona Render. Vegetation was created using Forest Pack (trees models are from builtin library) and GrowFx (tall grass models).
Postwork was done in Affinity Photo. It is pretty neat replacement of Photoshop.

One image was test of simulation of infrared photography (made in postwork). If the leaves are pink, that’s the right one.

Hope you like it!

Montpellier Soft Pink Door CGI

Internal doors are often overlooked as a feature of an interior, with many homes traditionally having white painted doors throughout. We wanted to flaunt alternatives to the norm by using an eye-catching pink finish for this door design. We set the natural lighting from one side to emphasise the raised and fielded mouldings and staged the door flat to the camera. The bedding was simulated with Marvelous Designer and botanical elements added in post production.

Living Room CG Image For A Splendid Design Project

The eye-level angle of the camera in the living room cg image is perfect for demonstrating zoning of the office lounge area. Despite the small space of the room, the rendering shows how the Designer managed to unite two zones in one: the working place and the relaxation area. Clients could easily imagine how their employees would make daily tasks on notebooks at the tables or comfortably sit on the sofas during breaks.

The lighting of the cg image makes the living room look more spacious which is exactly what the Designer intended to do. That’s why the huge french window is the center of the rendering. It occupies the whole outer wall which makes it not only the beautiful view but also the main source of light in the room.

In the cg image the sources of artificial lighting are more valuable for creating a comfy ambiance than illuminating the living room. The wooden lamps with warm light are stylish examples of decor that highlight minimalist design. And the simple neon sconces are doing perfect job of outlining the beautiful picture on the wall. All these decor details are carefully located on the cg image and convey a lovely relaxing atmosphere of the room.

Vancouver Oak

The challenge with our new door client was to make their products the centre of attention without the interior being too prominent. We used a flat on composition to display as much of the door as possible with the lighting and staging directing your focus in the right area.
