I tried to highlight the contrast between the grimy urban environment and the clean, neat and traditional interior of the restaurant. The mood and color scheme were heavily inspired by the classic, vibrant style of 80’s sci-fi movies such as Blade Runner. Having the master chef serve his food right on the street gives this image a unique and surreal atmosphere.
To achieve this image, I started to draw on paper, make drafts and once the whole idea became clear, I took it to the computer, using 3DS max, Vray and Photoshop.
