Marcin ‘NEB’ Jastrzebski’s ‘Queen Alia Airport’ visual, recreating the real deal designed by Foster + Partners in Amman, Jordan, awarded him with Best Visualization of the Week NO. 15/2016 for a remarkable CG remake modeled with Modo and Cinema4d, rendered with Corona Renderer and masterfully orchestrated for the final result in Photoshop. Follow this Making of Queen Alia Airport article as Marcin describes his process, focusing more on key principals then the technical aspects. Enjoy!
Thomas Vournazos, from Slashcube, posted on the forums a super cool looking visual of Hotel 114 – A small project he did for a hotel design in Oberkampf area in Paris. Showcasing a vibrant, night life scenario, was the main goal for this image and nicely done. Using Maxon’s Cinema 4D along with Corona Renderer for C4D, Thomas describes his workflow in this Making of Hotel 114 article for all to learn from. Enjoy!
We all do a personal project now and then. Some even struggle with doing one, but Mariusz Becker took it upon himself to do one per day for 13 months! You ask why? I let him answer in this case study which will have a following technical article with your help as well (see this at the end of this article).
Making of a recently completed set of images for a private villa designed by mw|works. Situated in a breathtaking environment, this was a challenging but very exciting project to take on and here we describe our process with Cinema 4D and V-Ray as our main tools of the trade.
Phil Buerer is not stranger here, with two best of week awards (BOW 22/2014 and BOW 33/2014) and two articles published as well! Today I’m very happy to publish his third article about the making-of Villa Lanaras. He recreates an already built project, as he usually likes to do from photos. Just a single photo this time. This house was designed by architect Nicos Valsamakis at Anavyssos back in 1963. Cinema 4d, V-Ray for Cinema 4d and Photoshop are the main tools used in this project. Enjoy!
