Beautiful Computer Generated Images – Tranquil by Michael Awonowo

The scene is an imaginary one where it’s elements are arranged in a simple manner; each element singular and yet an integral part to the whole.

The project was worked on in my free time between commercial projects and I took care to emphasis the aspects of digital art that I love and enjoy creating; material creation otherwise known as texturing and lighting.

Project was rendered in Corona. The seamless workflow is one to admire and I enjoyed working on this piece. This project was influenced by Jakub Cech; his style is one I greatly admire.

Dream Living by Tarek Gerges

A small description about this project. Designed & modeled in One day, textured and lit in the next day. Render started on the second as well. A Mix of Concrete, Metal & wood creates the perfect combination for a living space with a green box in the middle to grasp a piece nature.

Jackrabbit by Try Design / Terry Pisel

This project was interesting as the developer just had dirt and the desire to show a simple rendering on the lots billboard to get potential clients. They had no plan but they gave us the direction of “Lots of glass facing the views of Camelback mountain with a game room and master on the second floor.” I know, not a lot to go on. We developed the floor plan and elevations in SketchUp to make the modeling a bit faster and to avoid having to import CAD drawings.

Once the basic model was completed we then got to work populating the scene with trees and plants form Laubwerks and we used Skatter add the grass and gravel. Since we had a lot of freedom with the materials we decided to use as many vray standard materials as possible to save time and to see what they could do. The new material included in Vray 3.6 are great and required little of no modification to great results.
