Unfortunately, Kenzo Tange’s plans never came to reality, therefore, our 3D artist Igor decided to finish it himself… in 3D. He modeled and visualized a unique metabolic architectural structure and the Tokyo urban scene as the organic environment.
An exterior masterclass, which i decided to go a bit more hardcore with, compared to most part of other participants 🙂
Inspired by the wonderful El Fenn Hotel in Marrakesh, the latest Dark Band Studio project was developed aiming to capture the relation between the location lightness, which looks like floating over the water reflection, and the stereotomy of the elements and materials used in the scene.
We used 3DS Max + Vray + Photoshop.

Oku is a Japanese restaurant located in Mexico City. Designed by Michan Architecture.
We really liked the minimalistic approach and design of the restaurant that we just had to re-create the space and try capturing the feeling.

Personal project made for fun and practice of minimal composition and study of main color principles. Hi saturation values connected to reduced colors palette emphasize the final outcome and make realistic renders more abstract and look more like graphic forms. Software used: Cinema 4D + Octane + Adobe Photoshop/Camera Raw.
