What is it like, to wake up in the middle of a lake? The water is crystal clear to turquoise green, you’re surrounded by the nature and living in the comfortable place with minimalistic, but elegant interior that fits the environment’s mood.
The unique system of construction involves the initial laying of the foundation, and only after the construction of the entire building.
The next step is to explore this wild nature of Northern Norway. A pedestrian bridge on the water can be used to get to the shore.

Finzels Reach

This development consisted of 11 buildings and a bridge so it was a large project to undertake and the model management was huge. One building on the site was already built by the previous developer and several buildings were in derelict and in ruins throughout the site.

ROAD TO THE LAKE

The structure is elevated above a patio to preserve the flat portion of the site for outdoor use. Concrete retaining walls set into the steep hillside provide for an entry courtyard. A roof deck above the main living areas provides the inhabitants their own private lookout towards the Lake. The roof and walls of the structure are clad with a flat-seam siding system.
