Hi all. Here’s a commissioned work that I would like to share. I find it always some kind of tricky to respresent a space, rather non-spectacular like this one. To make it feel appealing or attractive, but to remain realistic and not to overdo. What do you think? C4D, Vray and some Photoshop.
‘The Nest’ is a Flamingo Observatory proposed by NUDES in Abu Dhabi as a part of the Famingo Observatory competition by Bee Breeders. The Nest celebrates the unique and diverse ecosystem of the Al Watbha Wetlands in Abu Dhabi particularly the flamingos that visit the area.
From the visualization side, the main challenge was creating the vegetation. The wetlands had a unique set of vegetation and part of communicating the design well consisted of building the landscape in 3D close to the real site. I identified 3-4 types of plants and did a few variations for each of them and finally scattered them on the landscape using particle system.
The entire scene is pretty much 3D except for the sky and the trees at the back.

When I first saw the photographs from ROMAIN LAPRADE for the exhibition summer pools, I felt in love with the design and architecture of this privat swimming pool. So I took some spare time to visualize these images about the white oasis pool designed by Alain Capeillères for his summer home hidden in the hills of Six-Fours-les-Plages. I hope you like them. Can you feel the Summer?
A colorful interior that we loved to explore and experiment with color schemes, and vegetation. Done in 2018 for Fala atelier.
