Walking City by Universal Everything

While browsing the net for information about parametric architecture modeling, I stumbled upon this mesmerizing video today I want to share with you all. In ‘Walking City’ you’ll see a computer generated figure constantly in motion end evolving through an array of architectural forms. Matt Pyke of Universal Everything multimedia studio directed this piece, referencing the utopian visions of the 1960’s architecture practice Archigram. It’s not short so try to stick with it to the end. All that you’ll see was done with Houdini. Enjoy!

Salle Labrouste by Bertrand Benoit

Bertrand Benoit revisits Paris again. After La Maison de Verre, he goes for an even more vintage building – The Interior of the Labrouste reading hall at the “Richelieu” branch of the French National Library (1862-1868). As always, it was all modeled by him using 3dsmax and heavy use if iToo Software‘s RailClone plugin for 3dsmax. Wonderful inspiration for the beginning of this week!

Polytown Media 3DDAY #01

I was very proud to host this week a first of its kind event dedicated to Architectural Visualization and V-Ray in Israel. Earlier this year I’ve invited Chaos Group to take part in Polytown Media 3DDAY #01 and was very happy to host them this Wednesday as part of V-Ray Days Israel 2014, along with Studio Aiko and Architect Omri Ron. What was on the menu you ask? Three captivating presentation, great 3d loving crowd and great food on the fresh and dazzling Mediterranean seafront Daniel Hotel in Herzliya, Israel.
