The Fredensborg House / NORM Architects
NORM Architects have recently completed the Fredensborg House near Copenhagen, Denmark. Below you will find a selection of interior photos taken inside the house – super cool “White Supremacy” going on here! and I like it. Even the brick walls and wooden floors have a pale white tendency… not so easy to setup a 3d scene to look like this and blend well all over. I’ll have to try that though.
Modeling 3D Sand Dunes in 3ds Max by Sascha Henrichs
Following Javier’s great V-Ray procedural sand tutorial post, I’ve seen this rather cool video by Sascha Henrichs over at 3dtotal about the way he models 3d sand dunes using 3ds max patch grids. You might get a very nice looking sand environment doing a combo of both. Feel free to mess around with it.

RailClone for 3ds Max Plugin by Itoo Software
Itoo Software, the makers of Forest Pro, just released yet another great plugin – RailClone! It is a 3DS Max plugin for parametric modelling based on custom geometry parts, definable by the user, and a set of construction rules. This concept of modelling lets you build complex and realistic structures for Architectural Visualization, Civil Engineering and Interior Design. I had the chance to take it for a spin during the beta and though I did not create any remarkable images to show here, I found it very easy to learn and the added library of common parts allowed to start using it right out the box.
