hi there im new to this blog and i love reading all your comments! is there a way i can download free growfx plugin as a starter! :) thanks
Congratulations to @MikeDugenioHansen the first stage winner! Keep on posting images ya'll... one more license is waiting ;)
My adventure with landscaping and foliage started couple years ago when i discovered onyx. Since than i have always tryed to build realistic environment as much as hardware/software and patient let me. I always loved to put in my scens big old trees and uniqe smalll shrubs, thats why almost into every projects i was creating some foliage treating it as training. Almost every trip be car or by foot was spend to watching how thing looks what is their structure, how to build one, seekeing for inspiration. So why i want to use growfx? I thing i have squeezed onyx to its boundaries and always thought that its high time to switch to growfx. Finally i made my decision after my whole data base with every single vegetation broke couple weeks ago, and 95% data was lost.... I have made long way till that time, an reconstructing whole vegetation library in onyx would be painful. Thats is why i need growfx - to expand my skills and freely create what i want to do, instead what software can let me do.
I really hope I will get growFX. as this is a way to create a unique work in a short time. and not copy-paste of models
@ronenbekerman growFX is something I've want to start using in my workflow Come on Papa needs a new plug-in!
i've read about growfx and it looks like the best solution for 3d foliage. i won't mind owning it :)
I feel cheated everytime I buy a vegetation model, because I know I could possibly create endless types of vegetation with GrowFX. I'd love to own it.
Thank you for this giveaway. This a extremely high quality plugin to build your own trees, shrubs, plants, grass, etc. It´d be a great help to have this for my future works.
One thing I've ever hated about renders, is that most time you are stuck with the same tree models, and you have to use them over and over again, making your work look as a factory made pattern, I would love to use GrowFX to make my renders even more realistic and less patterned.
It would be awesome build a huge parametric tree library to distinguish every project from pre-made un-editable tree geometries! This first, iToo Forest following...
Started fooling around with GrowFX a while ago for an old chapel project in the middle of the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, mainly using it for Japanese Cherry Blossom trees. Not yet perfected, but it is truly a great learning experience using the software. A license would be great to follow up and finish the project! Plus I'd probably share my models with everyone; always good to help out the 3D community.
I would like to have GrowFX soo I could start making great looking visualization for my architectural projects.
I'd use Grow FX to create a library of custom trees and foliage. The advantage over just buying meshes would be the ability to tweak presets and get loads of variation on the same type of trees and plants. Great giveaway Ronen :)
I really would like to use Grow Fx with Itoo Forest Pro. I'm using Evermotion library at the moment but I would like to make my own trees !By the way, great give away !!!
Very nice plug in , nowadays it seems that more people are interested in animation and this one just hits the targetrecommended for visual artists / architects
I like to use exact tree species when making visualizations, so growfx would be perfect for this :) Finger crossed ^^
Going to be doing some pretty specific custom foliage for my next project and have been looking forward to picking up a license of growfx!
The biggest advantage of grow fx is its nice, intuitive interface. If you ever worked with onyx, you know what i mean. And the results speak for themselves. My former boss always said: 'No one around here seems to know how a tree looks like.' :D
The best plant modeller out there!!!... hopefully I would be the lucky @ronenbekerman
Great ! most of my renders have dense vegetation and natural background. I must get it ! :D The iTrees 3D library from iCube is so poor :(
Would love a copy of GrowFx to use with Forest Pack for custom foliage. Looks like the best solution for 3DS Max users.
@Mateusz Ledzki Damn :- (. I think you're the best tree creator vastly around, I could not believe you made those trees in Onyx when I saw them in your portfolio. I wish you have made some tutorial or insight into your superly detailed work. Good luck !
@MikeDugenioHansen Congratulations Mike!
@MikeDugenioHansen Well Mike... you have good Karma ;) You won a GrowFX License... Now go ahead an start creating those endless types of vegetation!!!
@Design_Corps Thanks... with all the foliage chatter on the forum and my NNG entry I'll probably get into such custom buildup pretty soon ;) If I could enter with an image (and I can't) I would send in this one that I like very much...
all custom GrowFX stuff here
@Mateusz Ledzki as many as you like ;)
@ronenbekerman Yes I'm watching that thread with interest :) Looking forward to seeing how the NNG entry goes too!
