The Fredensborg House / NORM Architects

NORM Architects have recently completed the Fredensborg House near Copenhagen, Denmark. Below you will find a selection of interior photos taken inside the house – super cool “White Supremacy” going on here! and I like it. Even the brick walls and wooden floors have a pale white tendency… not so easy to setup a 3d scene to look like this and blend well all over. I’ll have to try that though.

2D/3D Hybrid rendering technique are really interesting, although I don’t have too many clients that prefer or ask for it, there are many things to learn that can transfer to a more photo-real inclined workflow. I previously posted about the ‘Digital Watercolor’ Technique by Scott Baumberger and now I share with you 8 videos done by Minneapolis based architectural visualization artist Les Chylinski. Summer House Vestfold by Jarmund / Vigsnæs AS Architects

This Summer house, by Jarmund / Vigsnæs AS Architects, is located on the coast of Vestfold in the southern part of Norway. I love this design and the way the selected materials integrate with the surroundings so well. Great reference for stone and wood usage. The grass at the inland side I don’t like so much… it doesn’t seem to fit the design that much.
