The first BrainTRUST is in session. This new category on the blog was born following an idea suggested by Alfa Smyrna (pixela) on the feedback forums and now published for the first time featuring an image by brave Filippo Previtali, who launched head first into the unknown.
Dusky blue in the snow wood houses tend to look great all the time and this one is no different. Bridge House by Joeb Moore + Partners is great as design an photography reference. I really like the blue / orange contrast and bare trees as background… makes a nice environment to showcase a house
I love this house design by Carter Williamson Architects and the photos by Brett Boardman too. Both day and dusk rear facade photos are great and showcase how the lighting works in such a scenario very well. You can also see the dining area as a day/dusk duo, and there are many other things to pick up from this one.
A wonderful set of colorful dusk glass facade of Akerselva Atrium by NBBJ photographed by Tim Griffith and Jiri Havran (some day views and interiors too in the original post link from archdaily). These are great reference for how this type of structure looks in real life – the glass, colors and river reflections are a joy to look at!
