3D Scans at The blank Repository

3d Scanned assets are becoming more of a common thing in architectural visualisation so seeing new sites dedicated to offering these is no surprise. The blank Repository is such a site, and even though the overall offering seems limited as is now, they seem to have set their aims in the right place. Check it out!

Here’s what they say about themselves :

Digital Repository for High Quality 3D Scan data, based in Santiago, Chile. Our goal is to keep expanding the repository and improving the quality of the data, in order to create a huge reliable source of 3D scan data. We are a non profit organization, so if you like and use our products, or simply want to support us, please take a second to donate.

Here’s the Food Factory Breakdown they released recently :

Seeing the isolated rendered items is so cool, so here are a few! Visit their site at – http://www.blankrepository.com/

Looking at this image, I am wondering what it really takes to get on that level of visualisation.

Do they realise all the assets are downloadable for free?? One item has the stamp “free” on it, but when choosing all the assets, putting them in the cart and checking out, I was able to download everything for 0$ ?…
