Thea Render 1.1 is officially released today to the public with great new features, some of which were covered in the Thea Render 1.1 review that was posted yesterday in light of this new release.
The new Thea Render 1.1, code-named “Chameleon”, marks another milestone in the development of the biased/unbiased hybrid render engine.
The new edition has two very important additions. The first is a performance improvement, up to x2, which makes Thea Render faster than ever (see tech announcement – Speed Boost 2x). The second is the very important integration with Motiva Colimo (see tech announcement – Repainting as Post Process, Thea Render + Colimo) that makes it possible to generate “infinite” variations from a just a single render.
Other than these two main features there are some extra ones that improve the workflow. Check out the new v1.1 Demoreel below that shows all the new things in fast forward.
