I am sorry but i cant find any button to click in to download any of the free objects posted in this site... Under the : "Get the Files!Use one of the buttons below to get the files ;)", there is nothing... only buttons for Facebook, twitter and google+. If you click on them they do nothing for you to download the files... so im lost in this site.

Help, Someone?

@maquino01 after clicking an option a "Get The Files!" button appears for you to click and get the download going.

Really appreciate the share but the number of hoops you have to jump through just to get the file is ridiculous.

Hi Joe, not that I know of. There might be but I haven't bumped into it yet. This is how I created them:
1. I perfectly unwrapped the geometry and saved the uvw layout.
2. In photoshop I created a fine thin line around the edges of that uvw just by simply selecting the edges and applying a stroke and saved out the jpg.
3. I then imported the chair in Zbrush and applied the alpha that I created in photoshop to only select the polygons covering that thin polygon flow.
4. I imported everything in 3DS Max and using that thin flow of polygons I selected one of the 2 borders and converted it into a spline. And finally I was able to clone the stitch along the spline using the Object Paint tools from the Graphite Modeling Tools.

I found this was the most precise way to do it even though there might be other simpler solutions to this.

I hope it helped.

Cheers !

@Simon Edwards Stay tuned, I will provide an OBJ and 3DS version of the chair.

Is there any other way to get this file with an account on FB/Tweeter/etc. ?
