Personal / Commissioned: Personal

Severe Norwegian landscapes: gloomy mountains looking from under the brow, cold lakes frightening their depth and
emptiness between them served as the main leitmotif of this work.
The expression of my personal experiences formed the basis of the conceptual statement on the topic of space and place of man in society.
A conscious escape from civilization that plunges us daily into gigabytes of useless information to meet oneself,
personal inner world..

The wheel’s hub holds thirty spokes
Utility depends on the hole through the hub.
The potter’s clay forms a vessel.
It is the space within that serves.
A house is built with solid walls
The nothingness of window and door alone
renders it usable,
That which exists may be transformed
What is non-existent has boundless uses.
