For my initial concept I drew inspiration from the game FIREWATCH by Campo Santo Studio.

I love the art style of this game, its original and beautiful and really captures the sense of the wilderness in which it is set. I particularly enjoyed the design of the Lookout tower that is central to the storyline. The elevated position allows for majestic panoramas of the surrounding environment and provides a sheltered yet exposed vantage point for the protagonist.

Like many people the idea of retreating from everyday life into nature is one that interests me a lot. An escape from the real world, a sanctuary where you are the only person for miles around. These are the qualities I’d like to convey in my cabin design.
