I wanted to show the night- and daylife of the museum, so the night view is during the shooting process and the day view is in overcust morning when the crew is gone. Contractors are continuing renovation and some early birds are heading to work.
Can’t do anything with my love of space and cgi movies, hence astranauts are main characters.
I suddenly found stunning night time photos taken inside of museum and really liked how those huge floodlights look and how mysterious looks everything around, in a faint haze. The site could become a film set for shooting one movie’s episode. Nor sure if it helps to underline the architecture but I’ll take a try. Probably yesterday’s Oscars ceremony got into my mind.
I liked the idea to show both parts of the museum – the old one with arch-shaped windows and the new black box looking one. Encounter of two generations.
Every project starts with search of references. You try to find images that can deliver your mood and vision of the future scene in a most expressive way. As the main character of our story is a museum of art and the weather outside dectates the mood, it was decided to create a peaceful, contemplative atmosphere.
Art is a mirror of life that contains the truth and helps you to find answers. I want to create a place for such searchers.
At first I was trying to understand the structurure of the building. What are the functions of all parts of the museum and which side atracts me most.
