… but at the same time I understand the spirit of the contest.
It this entry I wanted to show you the main composition I have in mind for my main shot. The architecture of the shelter should blend into the slope of the mountain and be a part of it, not disturbing the natural context.
I am planning to use Corona Render to achieve most realism in the scene, and combine it with Megascans which are graciously given access to us in this contest. It is the first time for me to use them, and from the beginning I must admit, that it won’t be easy on Australian internet and its speed ;).
Good luck everybody and have fun!
The location will be in the real world in java, but some modify will be made if needed. The environment take place on paddy/rice field with a river at the bottom of it.
The main software i’ll use is 3ds Max, with supporting software like world machine, GrowFx for creating vegetation, and render with vray.
The cabin design will improve and developed more along the creation of the environment. The cabin design main concept will be fit with the terraced environment.
This is my first huge project i ever made, so i’ll try my best to make it great.
I am thinking to visualise an underwater cabin which would be accessible from a deck above…
Started the general massing of the concept.
Kept it basic. Took some screenshots and printed them out to scribble over. Some of the ideas might work, others probably not.
Did some experimenting with Railclone for some slats that wrap up around the base of the Cabins. Did not go so well and decided to leave it for now and maybe ask on the iToo forum for help.
Will continue to work up the architectural design, while considering final camera positions.
I always wanted to gather two things i love: 3D and the place where I’m from: Auvergne.
It’s a place shaped by sleeping volcanoes in the middle of France. These volcanoes look so strong and quiet at the same time that putting a cabin on it makes it even more peaceful and inspiring.
