CABINS / eliota : Cabins: I-kanda remake

I choose the “cabin on the rock” by IKanda architects, and took it from it’s original location and put in a scandinavian landscape. I took inspiration from photos of fjords and islands, and drew a landscape between mountain and sea. Then to give a more precise idea of the elements all around the architecture (plants, rocks, moss, light) I’ve composed a photomontage with those elements from the photo references. Then in 3ds max I made a simple model of the cabin and put in the landscape.

CABINS / Crouberg : On cliff under life

Each of us sometimes wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax from the piled up problems. Here you can enjoy mountain walks, as well as walks through the forest. If you want, you can plunge into the sea. And at the same time, the most important thing is that you have a rest here.

CABINS / Ekolo : Modern Hut Update III

I’ve spent my lunch breaks over the last 2 weeks modifying the idea and direction of what I was trying to achieve here. I’ll break down progress so far;
Started off with a rough mountain scape with an open side. I really wanted a lake/river flowing through the image to reflect the huts. All these started off with planes that were pushed and pulled as desired.
Created two clusters of huts and created cameras to capture the environment and the huts. After this was achieved, I started scattering the assets from Megascans and populated the scene based on the views.
I’ve not really ever used Corona Render for a full project on my own before so I thought it’ll be a great challenge to use it for this project. Mood for the render was definitely going to be a sunset, end of day vibe.
Materials and textures I haven’t delved deep into (which I will soon) but lighting and geometry is pretty much close to being there! Just thought to update progress so far. Easter Bank Holiday is upon us, I’ll resume next week with hope to finish the scene by that weekend.
