I have to say that I am very surprised by how easy it was to use Anima Lite to add people to the scene (even though I wasted a whole day before I realized that I had downloaded version 1 instead of 2). I spent almost no time tweaking the paths and parameters before getting results I liked, placing those people individually in photoshop would have taken ages.
After that I was able to spend more of my time on finding the right lighting and mood for the finished scene.
My original image was really lacking a sense of scale but after adding the people you can now feel the contrast between the small humans and the skyscrapers to big to fit in the frame of the picture.
Also I finally achieved the look of a busy station with a lot of pedestrian traffic that I had observed in all the reference images used for the project, it brought life and movement into the scene without having to use post production tricks like blurred lights and objects.

I will be reusing the scene of a recent personal project and try to bring some life to it by adding lots of people. Usually I don’t put people on my personal projects, and just use them for commissioned projects by request. I believe this scene will benefit from some people to bring movement and scale into it.
