ABOUT ME

My name is Nejc and I am currently based in Slovenia, Europe. I am very enthusiastic and passionate about anything even remotely related to 3D type of work. My everlasting goal is to master the craft to the extent when only imagination becomes a limiting factor in the work I produce and not the technology itself. I have always been aspired by various 3D work, be it visualizations or video games. My passion still continues to this day. Due to my enthusiasm towards the subject my free time also consists of chewing through various books and other knowledge-full resources. When it comes to client work I take pride in my workflow with which I focus on the client`s need and vision while trying to top things off with nice-to-the-eye composition and general trendy addons that suit specific projects. By doing so I aspire (and obsess) towards achieving and surpassing the client`s initial vision both aesthetically and economicaly. I have a formal degree of Media communication / Visual communication which I gained at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Maribor, Slovenia. The knowledge gained through the process of formal education gives me good and sound theoretical knowledge of composition rules, visual aesthetics and marketing principals. I believe that the perfect project is the one that surpasses both the client`s aesthetic vision and economic value.

"Helping others is to help yourself."

So there is not that much about this project really. It is a personal project that focuses on creating a visually appealing, emotion evoking visualization where the sofa is in the center of attention.

These types of projects are a great way to experiment with workflows and moods so that you can get a better idea of what could help clients stand out amongst the crowd.

Instead of just creating an evenly lit interior shot, one can try to experiment and try to invoke emotions in the viewer.

Raw Serenity

Raw Serenity is an exploration of styles unknown, a step out of the comfort zone in search for the new and different. Whether the project is ultimately categorized as a product visualization or even an interior render set is not really important. What is important is exploring new styles and new design principles which can eventually help create inspiring commercial work and help clients and brands stand out.

This project is heavily inspired by the Japanese Wabi Sabi aesthetic which is derived from a world view that is centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
