Rose Seidler House

Hi, this is a personal project of the Rose Seidler House, located in Australia, a modernist iconic house designed by Harry Seidler. The house was built in 1948-1950, that’s why you will see an old phone and a typewriter machine.

I decided to recreate it full 3D, all the models are made by me, except vegetation and the wood chair which i took a pre-made model and modified it a little and textured it from scratch.

I had to unwrap almost everything so i could get the best out of materials and models, and for that reason i also used Substance Painter a lot.

Hope you like it.

The Last Flight

Talented architecture goes beyond a physical structure. Even goes beyond a physical world. The combination of materials, weight, light and form are greater than the sum of its parts. Plant the idea in this flower pot and it will lead you to the creation of tension and mystery. It is in this mystery through which our imagination is activated, enabling us to relate, contextualize and go beyond our physical experience. Without this ingredient, the created image is just a simple sum of the parts, no more than just an algorithm in which these parts are arranged. Each of us can recall how many countless hours were spent playing with LEGO. But as grown-ups, we hardly remember how in physical space our imagination would transform simple cubic structures into our fantasies. We must see architecture as a covenant to explore and stimulate the imagination through a visual language that can offer another spatial experience.
