I would love to use the GrowFXplugin for lots of reasons - I'm an aspiring Archviz/landscape designer and would love to explore the possibilities of the product in my personal projects, but more importantly I believe a plugin such as this would be even more exciting to use as part of an animation I'm working on! I'd love to test the limits and possibilities of this software!
Congratulations to @ShaXdoW - Moh'd Salim - the winner of the first part of this Giveaway.
Thanks to all who took part and joined in here ;) A winner will be selected shortly... keep sending images for part 2.
It would be great to experiment with custom vegetation for upcoming university projects as well as freelance projects. Just made the jump to 3ds so vegetation is all rather exciting...!
I work a lot with tree house designers and builders, in addition to my normal array of archvis clients, so this technology looks like a perfect fit. I've looked at and used pretty much everybody over the years...Bionatics, Onyx, HQ Plants, CGAxis, Dosch, Got3D, Xfrog, Vue, Laubwerk. They each have pluses and minuses, but I haven't tried GrowFX yet...and the results seem pretty stunning. I'd love to see if they could fit nicely into my workflow, and more importantly provide me with the variety of species I need from project to project.
I used the GrowFX trial and found it very powerful allowing me full control of the plant. I am Planning to do a project where the building sits within the tree canopy creating an experience on the site that is otherwise impossible. GrowFX would be crucial in creating the trees that penetrate through the building and the surrounding forest as well. Without the trees the experience would be sterile and library trees only take you so far. Using GrowFX to animate the plants growth and wind patterns is also a massive benefit that opens up opportunities that would otherwise be shelved due to time constraints.
Im doing a 300mx300m sized area with serveral famous houses (one of my favorite buildings since years ago) created by some of the greatest architects ever known, between this bigger buidlings there is a kind of park with bushes, flowers, grass and trees, I have been working on this personal project for a couple of months and I have come to the tricky part vegetation.I have been thinking about to model it pieace by piece just to be sure that it will be photorealistic but I think the result would be even better, faster and top notch I could manage to do this in growfx as It´s going to be animations with close-ups and of course wind effects :).
I often use some itree models in my project which were made by R&DGroup using GrowFX, they have great detail to enhance my image, it would be great to be able to create my own vegetation library with this amazing tool
I've never used GrowFX, but i almost always need a good, realistic plants in my work. So far i've used simple, "handmade" models or ready ones. As i saw on the web- with GrowFX i could achieve very good results!
I have a project in mind, an exhibition space where paths of the site are divided by trees, these are placed upside down and you can see and touch the leaves and branches in a more direct way, while the roots are in the roof. I have tried to develop this project with libraries trees and there is no way to achieve the result I want, because I can not change the characteristics of the tree at my convenience, but I'm sure with GrowFX, I can customize and achieve what I have been looking for.
I work for a Visualization firm and also have my own business doing renderings for other projects. I am currently going back to some of my school projects and modeling them for Visualization. GrowFX will allow me to add specific vegetation to these renderings.
Some recent projects have required some custom vegetation modeling. I currently use Onyx but am finding the parameters and potential to be quite limiting. I've read some nice things about this software and I'm interested to see how GrowFX stacks up.
My images have always lacked an element of realism that could be brought out with the GrowFX plugin. This would boost me to a whole new level !
I'm really addicted to try to recreate realistic 3d vegetation, I think GrowFX will be really usefull!
I would love to use this pruduct and bring new life to my visualizations/ its all about details and GrowFX do it great like a real master and convert your work to piece of art.
I recently discovered GrowFX and think it's one of the most powerful foliage creation software in the market.
I have started a project to trying to create a fashion magazine shot, combining Marvelous Designer and Growfx.
I have always suffered with foliage creation in 3DsMax, and been using premade trees from 3DMentor for a while now. They were just right, but sometimes you wish you can customize and modify your own trees!
I gave GrowFX a try using the trial, and it is awesome. I wish I win a license!
I love this kind of images, i would use every time for every scene, exteriors, interiors, fantasy, I see nature everywhere and when I want an image to be believable for sure I will use a plant generator.
One of the Most Sophisticated & easy to Model Trees Softwares :)
Highly Detailed & best part doesnt Crash . Exlevel GrowFX :)
To have believable foliage in outdoor (and even indoor) renders makes a big difference pulling of a photorealistic look. With GrowFX I would work on very detailed and unique plant models and show them upfront and close to the camera.
There have been a lot of frustrating times when i would have wanted to adapt my foliage library to an existing scene but couldn't. The GrowFX utility would have been perfect for that job!
GrowFX seems to be one of the top applications for creating high-detail realistic foliage, would love to get my hands on it :)
I've tested GrowFX at some point and it seems to be the most feature rich foliage creation tool. It has a somehow steep learning curve but ultimately it has the best max integration I've seen so far...
@ronenbekerman Wondering though, how can I claim it?
@ronenbekerman Wow, I really never thought I had a chance!! Thank you so much Ronen, I am really happy right now for the fact that this is the first thing I ever win, and for the fact that it is the Exlevel GrowFX plugin. Again, thank you so much for this. Just made my whole summer :)
@ShaXdoW Exlevel will make contact with you and arrange for the license ;) Enjoy!
@ronenbekerman Man, I am so eager to use it. Really can't wait, thanks a lot! :D
