thank you for this quest and of course the breakdown. its fascinating how complex images can be made by just using the basic tools. all thats been used there are the same tools i use, but never in those kinds of arrangements and blend modes. that was awesome.
tomorrow morning i maybe got some spare time to tryout a little ps.

This is an experimentation I've made on the shipyard exercise and I wanted to test how it would work with a different color palette, creating a different mood...your comments are more than welcome
