Ayo,
first post here on the forums, I thought it was time to enter a challange.
Was waiting for one like this.
Mies Van Der Rohe is my kind of architect: "Less is more".
Don't want to go for a full impact croud-like scene. I want to keep the focus on Mies and his architecture. There will be a "surreal" event stationed in the building, based on how Mies renewed the cityscape with his "steel-glass" architecture, in contrast to the concrete buildings of that period.
In the same way I'm going to (try) and give exhibitions a new public meaning, connecting the building to the public space, as this is one of the points Mies felt that was missing in this crown piece, being to much in "solitude".
So basicly: less is more, yet trying to make it a part of it's surroundings by adding a new ingredient, being "...".
