    Aight then.....Here I go.....

    Once again......great site, great forum........

Thing with competitions is that they boost ur performance.....but they also have a way of driving u crazy....me folks tink i've gone "OVERBOARD" hehehe .....so i been thinkin and yeah i got some reference photos from archdaily and searched files on my sys........ am CONFUSED already :|.....

Still i worked out something over the past days.....i really love the modules and being a very "lazy person" i didnt want ta change the units.....so i decided to go with a raked kind of design which i test rendered.....Sites gonna be a mighty problem but well......thats d challenge..........\

So the photos below show my concept formulation, reference photos and what i'm deciding to do already.......whaddaya think?

My apologies fellows, due to final year at school and personal jobs, i couldnt do a good follow up of my progress here on the competition, but i did save the images, so i'll be posting them right away!!!!

Here are the images from my modelling in sketchup as most of the work came from there.

    And I am a graduate finally with a 2.1 (B.sc though)

Most of my textures were applied in photoshop. Some of them were gotten from cgtextures and edited in photoshop. Recreating them as seamless materials.

Here is the modified texture of the water, that used for my pillars, and my walls.

I used a photmetric ies sun linked to a vray sky map for lighting the scene. Wanted to create the look of an impending rain.....i did make one of a rainy scene later on but couldnt post cos of the time factor and server issues.

Here are the render passes used in photoshop.

Yeah, i almost forgot that one......

Trees are from evermotion vol 85 while the rocks were created using the rock generator script which can be gotten from scriptspot.

I followed a rain tutorial by pixel perfect which u can find from Wonder How To » How To Videos & How-To Articles for the rainy scene created later on.

just type rain on the web page and everything with rain should show up. U'll see his there.

Heres my rainy scene....hope u like it.

I like the overall mood a lot, rain, stormy sky, palm trees ...
    Good luck.
