    Default MS House with Lumion 2

    I started to tackle the MS House Scene with Lumion 2 this time. You can see & read about my previous work on it in the making of articles I published on my blog :

    Interesting, I don't know anything about Lumion... but I do like the night animation with the fog and such!

    (in the 'did you notice'-department: the wood next to the pool looks wet/very reflective, and the far-side of the pool seems to have a ghost-like reflection)

    Hi Ronen,
    I´ve seen your latest published images made with Lumion and am interested in learning it. I have a potential very large project which I could use it to produce it. Please let me know more about how it handles large polycounts, the rendertimes, issues.

    Hi,

    Polycount is none issue so far... (working on 64bit system)

    Render times are super fast... a few sec per frame depending on the amount of effects and lights you use. could be 1-2 sec and the most I've had om my GTX 480 was 14-18sec rendering Full HD 3 Star output (the top most quality).

    It is not without issues... mostly related to the way GPU tech works vs. VRay for example - it is a matter of getting used to it.

    For still work I personally know I will be doing lots of postwork later.

    I'll keep updating with more as I progress and there will be a tutorial posted on the blog soon too.
