I have decided to take a completely different angle on this. I love checking out the images of Urban Explorers. The scenario is the house is derelict and squatters have moved in.

    Here are a few examples:

This is what I have so far. I have so much work to do!.

Hope I can get it all done but time is tight. Wish me luck!.

That rendering has that sad and forgotten look! Very unique theme and composition. It's that kind of scene designers and builders don't want to see of their work.

    looking good already!

I like your composition, its often tempting to try and get everything in, but you've managed to tell the whole story and still leave bits up to the imagination.

Thanks, your are right designers and builders would never want to see their building portrayed this way. That's why I felt it would be a new challenge for me to beat a building up instead of trying to make it look perfect. It's a nice break from my usual work and gives me a chance to practice painting textures. Got to use that Wacom tablet for something.

Thanks Peter, I am glad you feel it works. I was worried that it may feel like to little. I tried further away shots but getting in nice a tight allows me to add more detail which will add to the story. I left a little glimpse of the pool, just enough to make the viewer want to see more.
The window in the foreground will be smashed and tonight I am going to start painting the rest of the textures. There is only a couple of them done properly at the moment.

Looks like I wont finish. The exterior is done. I would have been able to finsih the interior by midnight New York time but just checked the world clock and that's 8pm, so not a chance. So close, yet so far....

Don't give up! even you don't make the deadline we would love to see the interior! and if rendering less then the minimum will help you make the deadline the please do (just don't send in a thumbnail :-) )

Keep us posted... a WIP of the interior maybe?

    Hey all,

I have finished the exterior but I am afraid the interior is not going to happen. I don't want to rush out an interior image I am not proud of, we had plenty of time but as always I have been very busy. Good luck to everyone!. Here is my final exterior image.
