I guess it is one of the most obvious angles for the building, but looks nice as starting point. I intend to work on further angles and options. BTW, Ronen, your website is amazing.

Your right, thats a great starting angle. Its the one I started with as well. I love the materials you have placed so far. Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve for this.

I finally submitted my images. Im happy but I think that being busy is always a hurdle. Anyways, I go to say that I had fun being part of the challenge.
Like I said in y submission post, I have been barely active with the forum, I have been busy at the job and working on other 3D projects besides these renderings with my idea in mind. I knew after a while that I wanted for this house something where night/dusk dramatic ambiance lighting will play an important role. Initially I was thinking on keeping at least one shot with daylight but soon I abandoned the idea towards exploring just almost night shots for both views the inside and the outside. I like eclectic styles, natural finishes and cozy lighting and that is how I tried to envision this building with a slim and almost cold geometry. That type of contrast is what I was looking for to portrait. I used inspiration from images from lighting designer bocci. I hope that my renderings are well received and look forward for the best to win, though I think that we all are already winners learning from each other and having fun doing what we like to do. Good luck. Bests. Last edited by 3DBLUE; 03-14-2010 at 04:28 AM. |

Almost all the elements I used to generate my images are present in this board. They were my reference all along the project. As far as software tools, I used 3dsmax 2010 with Vray 1.5 SP4 and Photoshop CS4 for post.
