-This is a pre marketing residential and commercial image for a client of mine to strum up interst from potential investers.

This is one of the first jobs at this scale I've taken the photography and done the 3d. It was an interesting process ringing all the apartments on the 3rd floor of the neighbouring site to ask if I a complete stranger could come into their apartment and shoot form their private balcony.

Location - La Trobe St, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
3ds Max 2012, Vray and photoshop.

Nice work mate. Did you add to the sky or was that in the shot you took?

Btw, I live on LaTrobe and each time i walk past that site, they're marketing a different development. Think it was 'Backyard Apartments' then 'Focus'. I guess they're having trouble getting anything off the ground?

Thanks Afterglow. Yeah I think you're right this is the second or third re design (or I'm not sure if they sold it off before development) , it's the first I've been involved though so fingers crossed for a third time lucky, I'm looking forward to working on some interiors for this job later in the process. Small world.

The photo is a Frankenstein of about 4 or 5 different shots, unfortunately cloud came over as soon as the sun was setting resulting in a dead sky so I've masked in one of Peiter Guthries HDRIs as a replacement.

Very nice work! Lighting and photography are really sharp. I work in southgate so I'm close by too :P
