    Default Manica Lunga Library

    Hi,
This is my last personal work, the Manica Lunga Library. It's a dormitory built in the fifteenth century by Giovanni Buora and then convert into a library by italian architect Michele De Lucchi. I always wanted to work on a library so now it's done!

Except floor, eveything is modeled, mainly high-poly with a little noise (or Displace) modifier to create natural deformation.
It's done with 3DsMax, V-ray 2.0, PS and After Effects
    Hope you like it!

Congratulation on the project. This is looking great. It would be nice to see a couple of different lighting set-ups. This is picky but...... I also think your matl / shaders could be worked on.... Nice one!

@blowback: Thanks for comment! Indeed I can't disagree woods needs more work and little details, dust/dirt maps I've add are not really visible at that resolution.

@tredistudio: Thanks! Totally agree, MDL is a great architect! Here is his website, you'll find original project

    Ahah! Not so much
I've used Forest Pack Pro to create scale random and some basic book pack. But after that, as FPP (and other scattering plug) don't handle real collision between object, I've done something like 400 books by hand and then store them as random as I can in the library.

Thanks for the Link, but I just know it, I do some jobs with the aMDL studio, not directly with Michele de Lucchi but with Angelo Micheli (fantastic man also in Real life^^) his old partner in the studio.

So many praise for your works, but it indeed deserves the praise.
