This is a personal project i made to study specific rendering styles like MIR or Luxigon. Camera Angle is inspired by an image by MIR (Moonhyun Towe - Dark Tower).
The goal was to approach these styles without being exactly the same, trying to get one of my own.
I began this image in mid-december 2010, i have finished it now.
I made it on my spare time, and finally achieved a result more like Luxigon kind of work than MIR 's one (i think).

Thanks, i have used photoshop as main rendering engine on this, but there 's some Max/Vray stuff involved. Plus Multiscatter for behind the glasses animation on the towers, and Knoll Light Factory for Spotlights and Flare effects.

i have used multiscatter to scatter multiple 2D planes through the building levels, mapped with office bitmap, themselves inside a vrayLightMTL.
I hope this is clear as my english

MIR! great visualization, I have tried to make a render with a MIR style but but no luck (very hard style-especially with the 2d map trees/people blending) I wish you could do some tutorials on this.

Newke, have you ever thought about doing a "making of" for these two images? Just for the photoshop stuff. Would that be possible?
